THE SKY IS FALLING! THE SKY IS FALLING!!
(April Fools Day!?!)

Today is the big CD Release day we've all been waiting for! (At least I'VE been waiting for - I'm always glad when a big project is over!)

Ah-Hem! Anyway...

I promised you an April Fools joke, of sorts, and here it is.

As many of you know I have been working on two albums as of late. Foggy Mountain Melodies, the Bluegrass album of original music including the wacky song my wife doesn't want me to sing in public Taking A Ride comes out today. Here's the punchline.

Actually the CD we are releasing today is the instrumental lap dulcimer CD titled 3 Strings. This project has been in the works for a while and has finally come together quite nicely.

To hear one of the songs from the project go

and click on the song Pocketknife.

Sorry to disappoint some of you about the Foggy Mountain project, but the truth is that I have seriously reduced by activity schedule since my heart attack last November (see you don't have to be old to pay for all the mistakes your Mother warned you about), and frankly haven't had the energy it takes to complete the project. (go ahead, cry me a river)

So not to miss a deadline, we've chosen to speed up the release of the 3 Strings project. Sorry you missed the big release party, but it was only for a few close friends.
(By the way Mr. Trump flew in for the special occasion as did a few of my Hollywood friends like Paris and Ashton and Jennifer and Ernest. ...and then I woke up)

So there you have it. More to come about the 3 Strings albumm, the instrument called the lap dulcimer, and other details to come. (Don't touch that dial!) So check back soon.

I still appreciate the support,
-Jack

You can visit the 3 Strings Stuff Store now, though.
