THANKS, FOLKS!

What a great weekend of music & fun & new friends for Tina & I at the Venango Coon & Fox Club last weekend.

Thanks goes to The Stuart Family for allowing me to share the stage with them. They are a great Gospel singing family and are also hard to keep up with as a Bluegrass Gospel band. (I had to change my Dobro strings after playing with them) Thanks, Jenny, for all the hospitality and good food. You can invite me to eat at your bus anytime!

Thanks goes to Carl & Fern for the tireless work they put into this and so many other festivals. Your love of Bluegrass and Bluegrass people really shows through!

And thanks goes to the Venango County Coon and Fox Club (Franklin, PA) for having such a nice camping and music facility and for sponsoring this event every year. I pray you finally recover from those awful storms you saw before we came. Also thanks for making me a temporary member, even though I never ever tree-ed a coon or chased a fox by myself before! By the way, I meant to get one of your blue bluegrass hats, but forgot. Save me one, would you?
